We started the new year with another fine line-up of readers: an hour of poetry from Dónall Dempsey, Judith Wozniak, Greg Smith, Jenny Brown, Belinda Singleton, Tony Watts, Claudia Court, Christine Vial, Gerald Killingworth, Audrey Ardern Jones, Clive Donovan, Beth Brooks and Alison Mace. Personal memories, ekphrastic poems, music, scientific theory, politics, nonsense and Spoonerisms, a tale of a frustrated mugger, nature and portraits of people — all these topics were on the menu in this wonderful pot-pourri of poems, The next gathering will be on Zoom on Tuesday 3rd February.
